How does the auction work? and HOW TO BID

Basically like a low tech version of Ebay. Auctions will be open for approx one week, soon after a kid is born. Pictures and details of each kid will be posted below under "Current Auctions". The opening bid and current high bid will be displayed, and although not always immediate, it will be updated many times throughout the day, as needed.I will be at the computer near the end of auction to make updates for any last minute bids coming in. Make sure you refresh/reload this page in your browser to see the updates. You can send me your bids, and if you'd like you can specify a max bid, just like Ebay, so you don't have to keep up with it through the counterbidding process. Setting a max bid is NOT a straight bid. Setting a max bid just authorizes me to continue countering any other bids automatically, on your behalf, UP TO your max amount. So if an auction opens at $700 and you tell me you'd like to place a bid, and your max bid is $1000, you will get the current bid spot of $700. It will only go up if someone counterbids. If someone counter bids at $725, you will automatically get the $750 spot, and it will stay there unless someone else bids. If someone counter bids and tells me their max bid is $950, the bidding will autoincrement in $25 amounts, and you will end up in the $975 spot.

To ensure people with nothing better to do aren't sending frivolous bids from fake accounts, bids can be sent through Facebook Messenger to "Kathy Beck-Mullins". If we are not already friends on Facebook, send a friend request to become an approved bidder. I will be checking out your account for all the signs of being a real account. It is helpful to do that way ahead of time. Even more helpful if you send a message too especially if you don't have goat posts on your page. If you do not use Facebook, you can email your bid from the contact email address you have listed on your website. Include a link to your website in your email. I feel this should cover 99.9% of people. Established breeders are going to have a website or a Facebook, and that is the customer base for these auctions. Bid increments are $25. (if current bid is $1000, the next bid would be $1025).

I will also make a Facebook post and update there as well for each auction, however, with the ever present chance of getting put in Facebook jail, you should check this page if you haven't seen FB updates. :)

At the close of each auction, the winning bid amount and initials of winning bidder(s) will be displayed. Littermates will be setup staggered with slightly different auction end times, so that if you don't win on the one, you will still have time to get in on the other one. You can let me know when you bid on the first one, if you'd like your bid automatically moved the second one if you don't win the first one.

IF YOU WIN THE AUCTION
If you placed the winning bid, you will be notified by the method you sent the bid (email or Messenger). You will have 24 hours to send a deposit via paypal, or in person if local. If no deposit of cleared funds is received in 24 hours, it goes to the next highest bidder. Cleared funds means there will be no hold on the amount through paypal, or cash (not a check) if in person. To have cleared funds through Paypal, you need to have an available balance OR your bank account/credit card linked ahead of time, so PLAN AHEAD.

All kids have to be picked up at the farm. I can not meet on transport routes. Most transporters don't do farm pickups anymore, so again, plan ahead. If you win a bid, place a deposit, and then can't get transport worked out, you will lose your deposit. Know whether you can get transport worked out before placing a bid (please and thank you!). Don't skimp on transport! Thats not where you want to try to save money. There are too many transporter horror stories. Make sure you have many solid references for that transporter and a clear commitement from them with pickup and delivery dates/timeline. Some may take way longer than what you'd think to get your kid to you! ASK for a clear commitment on how long it will take to get kid from here to you. **The transporter does not work for me!!! They are hired by and work for you! I have no control over their care once they leave this farm! BE SURE to use a very good transporter! Protect your investment!** Consider privately hiring someone you know local to you, that can pick up and bring the kid directly to you. Likely will be close to same cost as using an actual transporter with way less travel time/stress for the kid. The target for kid pickup is between 3-4 weeks old. I can not hold on to kids for extended periods of time, so be sure you can get kid transported within the timeframe. Unless agreed to ahead of time, if kid hasn't been picked up by 4 weeks old, deposit will be forfeited and kid will be sold to another buyer. If a CVI is desired, I have to know enough ahead of time to get a vet scheduled and they are very booked here so the more notice, the better. Buyers are responsible for all costs associated with the CVI, including the farm vet visit. If there is more than one buyer needing one at the same time, the vet farm visit fee can/will be split up between the buyers to save you money.

***Any associated CVI fees plus the full price of the kid must be paid in full, in cleared funds, before the kid can leave the farm. Paypal payments need to be sent friends and family (double check to ensure there is no fee!), OR alternatively, you can add the 3.5% fee to your payment. ***  Important: Paypal no longer allows a refund of a payment plus fees, if you mess up and do it wrong, if I refund, they still keep the fee and it comes from my account! So if you do it wrong, unfortunately, you'll have to send a second payment to cover the fee, so double and triple check there is no fee being charged. :)

This is a breeding I am SUPER excited about!!! I'm so grateful I got a doe kid to retain from it! Rosebelle is a much younger FULL sister to SG Better Wayz Carabear. Carabear is Elite, Top Ten and dam to ALL my top does. Rosebelle is a gorgeous doe with beautiful mammary system that appraised with a 90 as a second freshener in 2021. Everyone knows what a beautiful match up Carabear x EJ makes (thats all my top does sire and dam), so here we have similar with Carabear's full sister and EJ's son (also Carabear x EJ). Rosebelle carries impressive PTIs at PTI21: 126 and PTI12: 117

The sire, Better Wayz Bravehart Carabear (EJ x Carabear), is FULL brother to all my top girls (the Carabear daughters) who have all LA'ed with great scores and impressed with top production, earning Elite status and Top 10 Placements (see each ones accomplishements on the Doe Page). The EJ x Carabear cross has proven time and time again to be dynamite every time and now we have it in buck form ha. Bravehart carries a whopping ETA of ETA21: 270 and ETA12: 189.

x Better Wayz Is A Hunk *B

***Please specify which buck you would like to place your bid on when bidding and if you'd like your bid to automatically apply to the next buck if you don't win. ***

Funshine is another exceptional doe. She is an absolute stunner and serious about her work as a true dairy goat. She is 98th percentile Elite, and 2020 Top 10 for butterfat. She brings sky high PTIs of PTI21: 292 and PTI12: 213!

The sire of this buck, Better Wayz Is A Hunk *B (SG Better Wayz Isabelle 3*M VEEE91 Elite x Amethyst Acres G Zebulen +*B Elite) also brings impressive numbers to the table with a ETA21: of 214 and ETA12: of 114!! His dam Isabelle VEEE91, 98th percentile elite, and Top Ten for butterfat excels in form and function.  His sire, Zebulen, is out of Sugar Moon Z Zip Me Up, who was the #1 place holder on the 2020 Top Ten list for milk amount. :)

If you are looking to get your numbers out of the red, or just get your numbers up in general, these little bucks are going to help your herd a lot in doing that! Great conformation, beautiful udders, and fantastic production on both sides of these little guys!!! Harmony and Hunk are both already DNA verfied, so you'll be able to do full parentage on this kid when/if you choose to DNA him.
